So what the heck is RSS?
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. It's a format that web sites and blogs can use to send updated headlines to you through other places. Syndication means you don't have to visit each site individually to see what's new—you simply scan headlines or brief article summaries and click to read the full text. That's the really simple part.
Why's it so cool?
For the individual, you can keep all your RSS Feeds in one place (I use My Yahoo). Many places have RSS Feeds-at Netflix alone-you have the Top 100, New Releases, your Queue/Rental Activity/Lists-they all have their own feeds!, as well as most Groups and Message Boards, Blogs, and news channels.
I like to use My Yahoo for my RSS Feeds because I can create seperate pages there for different things: News, Music, Gaming, and Authors. With all those categories-there are many websites that I can look into, but I don't have to go searching through net space to see what's new-as long as a place has an RSS Feed, I can add it to my page and get all my info/updates in one glance! Pretty cool huh?
For the Website Owner/Group Creator/and Portal Administrator, having content on your page that relates to your website is very beneficial to your readers. The key to that of course is keeping it within the "genre". So if you have a favorite website within that genre, see if they have a feed that you can add to your website.
How to find the RSS Feed?
Look for the orange buttons...

Click on it, or the link near it. To get the address for this feed, you copy what is in the address bar. Then paste it in your RSS reader!
