- What's your favorite genre of film?
- scifi and Intelligent Mysteries (ie Sherlock Holmes--SPY mysteries like "Tinker,Tailor, Soldier,Spy and the 4th Protocall--also Historical Dramas if they are about very interesting events (not biographies so much)
- About Me:
- I am open minded but opinionated--I am always willing to have my outlook changed or affected by arguments that depend on solid information and good logic. I am not a big fan of humanity--but am a big fan of a lot of individual humans (being part of humanity is not their fault)! I likje stories with a PLOT (NOT character studies or explorations of human emotion masquerading as a plot)! Stories that have a DIRECTION -- that seem to be going somewhere! I DO NOT HOWEVER under ANY circumstances care for "SOAPBOX" films or TV Shows or "VERY SPECIAL EPISODES"!! God Help and save US ALL--from well intentioned do-gooders that think we're all too stupid to read philosophy, history and ethics and need it spoon fed to us through fiction! (Mind you--I don't mind that an author or director has an OUTLOOK--as long as that outlook is always secondary to the natural path of the plot....) I am originally from Kentucky and therefore have a very balanced view of Yankees and Southerners--in my opinion both groups need more time spent on horsemanship and proper appreciation of Cornbread--LOL!
