question about multiple queue's & profiles

I know...I know, it's a silly habit I have--actually getting to know the process before jumping in. Well, now that I'm here there's no getting rid of me (or my dogs either). I like it here way too much. :)

Favorite Show Puppies - 1980s

You've just made me realize my fondness for Jack Russells was reinforced by Hooperman, a show I'd forgotten. My mother's family dog when she was growing up was a Jack Russell (named Frisky), so it may be a genetic predisposition.

(And you made me mist up by quoting that line from The Wonder Years about how going off to college affects the pets we leave behind...)

A vote for "Bijoux"!

Favorite Show Puppies - 1980s

Oh no, I missed one? Sorry Aces, I didn't really watch Married with Children. According to IMdb it was the 80's but since I overlooked him, I'll do the research and be sure he's included in the next poll (even if it's out of decade order). Thanks for the catch!

TV shows that are popular, but you never got "into"

it's frasier

while it's all a matter of taste, out of any of them, i would suggest you give dexter a shot (unless you already have). season one of that show is an absolute masterpiece

TV shows that are popular, but you never got "into"

I have a long list..but some are LOST, Desperate Housewives (yuk), Beverly Hills 90210 (the original series), Freisher (or however you might spell it) , Dexter and The Sopranos. Never really cared for them... perhaps one day I will watch the Sopranos though.

The Oscars According To You...

Yes i know is called "Release Date" =)

What did you watch today? v 17.0

I watched A Christmas too many ( only available for IW) http://www.netflix.com/WiMovie/A_Christmas_Too_Many/70100858?trkid=188469

I found this movies to be a bore. It was supposed to be a comedy but after 30 mins I gave up on this one. I suggest that you don't bother watching this one at all you will be very dissapointed.

What did you watch today? v 17.0

Finished Cape Fear.
I think Robert Mitchum was great. The way he walked and held himself was extremely creepy and it was good to see Telly Savalas. I also liked the Diane Taylor character, but I was a little disappointed w/ the other leading ladies, namely Nancy the daughter.

I thought Juliette Lewis played the role much better (Cape Fear). No one can pull off a "naive deer-in-the- headlights" like she can.

What did you watch today? v 17.0

I watched The Spook who Sat By The Door.
"What we got now is a colony, what we want to create is a new nation."
Great movie, moved along well and had a strong leading man. It's a 70's film about the civil rights struggle in Chicago.
There is a good commentary at the beginning to set up the film and the special feature has words from the author. (It was a book before a movie)
4 stars
(stolen from one of Pihk's lists)

next up Cape Fear
(1962)

loss of recent activity.

Perhaps this could be of help?
