Blood Suckin Mayhem

Blade

"Good" vampire Blade (Wesley Snipes), along with his mentor and weaponsmith, Whistler (Kris Kristofferson), battle Deacon Frost (Stephen Dorff), an evil vampire rebel who plans to take over the outdated vampire council, capture Blade and resurrect voracious blood god La Magra. Stephen Norrington directs this dark action thriller based on the comic book series. N'Bushe Wright co-stars as bitten hematologist Dr. Karen Jenson.

Dracula 2000

After breaking into a high-security vault, a team of thieves discovers an ancient crypt that holds none other than the corpse of Dracula! Freed from a century of confinement, the fanged count travels to New Orleans so he can quench his thirst for blood … and find the woman who holds the key to world domination and eternal life.

BloodRayne

A half-human, half vampire sets out to destroy her vampire king father in this Gothic horror film based on the video game. Bloodthirsty Lord Kagan (Ben Kingsley) wants his daughter to become a full-fledged vampiress, but fanged femme fatale Rayne (Kristanna Loken) denounces her father's legacy and instead joins up with a trio of vampire hunters (Michael Madsen, Michelle Rodriguez and Matt Davis). Billy Zane and Udo Kier co-star.

Shadow of the Vampire

A wicked movie about the making of the 1922 silent-film classic Nosferatu, Shadow of the Vampire features Willem Dafoe's Oscar-nominated performance. Director F.W. Murnau (John Malkovich) yearns to create the most terrifying vampire tale imaginable. Unknown actor Max Schreck (Dafoe), cast as the vampire Count Orlock, makes an impressive debut as filming begins, even as he hides an unearthly secret.

The Little Vampire

Forced to move to Scotland after his father (Tommy Hinkley) lands a new job, 9-year-old Tony Thompson's (Jonathan Lipnicki) life takes a surprising turn when he's befriended by an aristocratic vegetarian vampire named Rudolph (Rollo Weeks). Richard E. Grant, John Wood, Pamela Gidley and Jim Carter also star in this family- friendly adventure based on the popular series by writer Angela Sommer-Bodenburg.

Good work on the # note: note!
I will try to do some work on that next. BTW, I'm a total organizational freak too - I appreciate those who are like-minded ;) ...probably that's why I'm so into this project in the first place.

I've been trying to figure out how to use the mail feature on the site to send you that excel file... but so far I only know how to 'reply'. I've a few different things but it keeps telling 'that recipient does not exist'...
Maybe if you send me an email, i can 'reply' :)

Man, i just just couldn't keep up with all the great work you did yesterday! I will try to contribute a bit more today. BTW, Pooh made a great HTML help note that I think was really needed.

oh I was also thinking we might want to remove the latest activities feature
-only b/c it clutters the top of the page and most members don't know how to drag it to the side bar.
or do you think we should keep it and just add that point to our step-by-step instructions?
Oh my goodness I'm getting tired... might take a break :)

That all sounds good!
What about the Group Index? I was thinking that information about updates might trickle down in several different ways -so a portal admin. should inform both indexes, index 1 informs portal & index 2, and so forth.
I was thinking this way there would be a lower change of things slipping through the cracks.

I wasn't sure if we should separate out the duties between our 2 indexes or let people use either one for the same kind of questions, comments, updates. It might be nice if all of these were in one place though, so that all admins could see them and hopefully someone would respond promptly... I dunno

I think we should ask portals to do updates once a month -the way we will know this has been done is that they will 'edit' their HTML portal note and the save will indicate the date it was done.
If someone slips off the map and a portal gets abandoned then we will be able to tell.

I see, the problem with using the notes in such a free floating way is that the user has to rely on clicking back and forth to various page links rather than being able to view them in one page.

I think having a portal admin. folder of some sort is necessary to facilitate communication between everyone.

How about this-what if we create a forum folder, but then instead of posting the FAQs directly there (where they don't look nearly as cute), we organize the links there.
Or we could employ the same concept in the groups section.

i also think that there is a way to hide those tabs from 'members' and at the least block them from being able to create groups or discussions there.

Oh OK... I'll take a look

What did you watch today? v 22.0

...not really a date movie...HA!

What did you watch today? v 22.0

I copied the LD onto a DVD. So long as it works in my region, my village, Mexico, the rest of the world can go fuck itself.

Your Feature Wishlist

In addition to all other objections, these early nonreviews get the most votes and are then called the most helpful. True helpful reviews of the disc often get buried.

Always Low Ratings on New Movies?

Take a look at this one.
Can anyone explain how the average of one rating can equal 2.9 stars?

Also, here I see:
Average of raters like you: 2.8 stars
Average of 2 ratings: 2.9 stars

Hmmmm...?

What did you watch today? v 22.0

um,

Will that work in a region-free player?

I loved that film, though it's not really a date movie, is it? It is one of the few times that I have been unwillingly forced to depart the theater before the ending, and I've yet to forgive her for it. I did catch it some years later on video, but it just ain't the same.
